Characterization of single crystals as well as epitaxial layers can be
achieved through high resolution diffraction. |

The instrumentation available for this type of experiments is a high resolution
horizontal goniometer with a four reflection Ge monochromator. Specific
software allows the recording of rocking curves as well as reciprocal space
mapping. See figure at left. |
