 Academic Preparation:

1) Bachelor in Physics, Instituto de Física "Gleb Wataghin", Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), 1986-1989.

2) Ph.D. in Physcis, Instituto de Física "Gleb Wataghin", Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP), 1990-1992. Title: "Estudo do Desenvolvimento de Materiais Nanocristalinos: Magnetismo e Estrutura" (Study of development of nanocrystalline materials).  Supervised by Dra. Reiko Sato Turtelli. Approved with honors.

3) Post-doc stages: Istituto Elettrotecnico Nazionale Galileo Ferraris, Torino, Italy, 1993-1994. Instituto de Magnetismo Aplicado, Madrid, Spain, 1994.

Magnetic and transport properties of artifially grown magnetic materials; Giant magnetoresistance in granular films; Giant Magnetoimpedance in amorphous and nanocrystalline wires and ribbons;  Joule heating in magnetic materials.
