Brazilian Visa
You may need a Visa (American and Japanese Citizens need for sure).
Nationals of the following countries does not need Visa:
(a) EU countries for touristic stays of up to 90 days;
(b) Andorra, Bahamas, Barbados, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Morocco, Namibia, Norway, Peru, Philippines, San Marino, Slovenia, South Africa, Surinam, Switzerland, Trinidad & Tobago, Vatican City and Venezuela for touristic stays of up to 90 days.
Restricted entry: Holders of passports issued by Central African Republic, Comoros, Korea (DPR) and Taiwan will not be allowed entry to Brazil unless they are holding a Laissez-Passer issued by the Brazilian authorities.

Nearest airports
The nearest airport is Galećo Airport (GIG) (also know as Antonio Carlos Jobim International Airport) at Rio de Janeiro, the second nearest is Sao Paulo - Guarulhos International Airport (GRU).
